Description and use
The Finger Wrist Splint allows you to immobilize your fingers in order to effectively treat long finger injuries.
• Splint adaptable according to medical recommendations.
• Possible positioning on the back or palm depending on the location of the trauma.
• Immobilization in syndactyly: 2nd with the 3rd finger (in dorsal position) and 4th with the 5th finger (in palmar position).
Long finger injuries that may benefit from immobilization, particularly in the following cases:
• Sprains.
• Sprains.
• Dislocation.
• Stable fractures
Precautions for use:
• The orthosis should not be used in cases where the pathology requires absolute immobilization or surgical intervention.
• The orthosis must be fitted by a healthcare professional.
• When adjusting the strap, adjust to obtain a firm but comfortable fit.

• The orthosis must not be placed in direct contact with damaged skin.
• This orthosis is a device for single-patient use. Do not reuse on multiple patients.
• If any problem occurs while using this orthosis, for example pain or the appearance of local signs, remove the device and contact your healthcare professional.
• If any serious incident occurs, related to the device, the healthcare professional and/or the patient must report it to the manufacturer and to the competent authority in the country concerned.
Set up :
A fitting is mandatory for a proper fit and a good understanding of the installation. The first fitting will be carried out by a healthcare professional and subsequently by the user or someone close to them according to the same protocol.
Depending on the condition and medical recommendations, the splint can be placed either in the palmar position or in the dorsal position.
Immobilization position:
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, immobilization will be done in the protective position (immobilization in the intrinsic plus position) to avoid stiffening:
• Metacarpophalangeal (MP) joint: 60° - 70°.
• Proximal interphalangeal joint (PIP): 10° - 20°.
• Distal interphalangeal joint (DIP): in extension
Maintenance and conservation:
• Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40°C); rinse thoroughly; wring gently; do not bleach; dry flat, do not tumble dry; do not iron; do not dry clean.
• Dispose of the device and its packaging in accordance with local or national environmental regulations.
