Description and use
The abdominal belt reduces lower back pain. When the removable back bib is applied, the device provides movement restriction of the lumbar spine.
The lumbar-dominal belt is indicated in cases of lumbago, sciatica, lower back pain in mild obesity (with bib). It can also be worn for abdominal support in cases of temporary deficiency (without bib).

Without rear bib:
For abdominal conditions that may benefit from compression, including the following:
• Stretching of the abdominal muscles or weakness in the abdomen.
With rear bib:
For abdominal conditions that may benefit from abdominal compression and restriction of movement, including:
• Stretching of the abdominal muscles or fragility in the abdomen (postpartum, postoperative) associated with: sciatica, lumbago / lower back pain.
Precautions for use:
• The device should not be used in individuals for whom compression is contraindicated.
• Patients with pelvic floor weakness should consult their doctor before using the orthosis.
• The device contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.
• Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical supervision.
• The orthosis should not be placed in direct contact with damaged skin. This orthosis is a device for single-patient use. Do not reuse on multiple patients.
• If any problem occurs while using this orthosis, remove the device and contact your doctor.
• If any serious incident occurs in connection with the device, the healthcare professional and/or the patient must report it to the manufacturer and the competent authority in the country concerned. Weaning should be gradual, possibly with the association of functional rehabilitation.
Set up :
A fitting is mandatory for adaptation and a good understanding of the fitting. The first fitting will be carried out by a healthcare professional and later by a person close to you according to the same protocol.
If the whalebone bib is not necessary:
1. Remove the removable whalebone bib.
2. Release the 2 1D & 1G tie rods of the hypogastric strap from their hook-and-loop fastener.
3. Position seam 2 of these tie rods on the navel.
4. Adjust and secure the side hook-and-loop part of belt 3 to your waist, making sure to keep seam 2 of the tie rods at the navel.
5. Successively put in place the 2 1D & 1G tension rods of the hypogastric strap, starting with the left side, to the desired tension. If the whalebone bib is necessary:
6. Follow steps 2 and 3.
7. Make sure to center the bib on the spine so that it is centered with seam 2.
8. Follow steps 4 and 5.
Maintenance and conservation:
• Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40°C); rinse thoroughly; wring gently; do not bleach; dry flat, do not tumble dry; do not iron; do not dry clean.
• Dispose of the device and its packaging in accordance with local or national environmental regulations.
