Kinesiology Tape - Urgo

URGO Kinesiology Tape is an adhesive elastic tape that provides dynamic muscle support and accompanies movement without limiting joint mobility.

This band is Breathable and water-resistant for long-lasting wear of up to 3 days . It is suitable for anyone over 16 years old who is likely to engage in physical activity or exertion (sport, standing or sitting work, construction work, moving, etc.).

Areas affected: knee (patella), ankle (Achilles tendon), shoulder (subacromial impingement), elbow (epicondylitis or tennis elbow), neck (trapezius), lower back.

Advice before use:

• Clean and dry your skin. Make sure your skin has not been treated with greasy creams or lotions and that it is not particularly hairy. Adherence is reduced if your skin is very hairy.
• Use a pair of cleaned and disinfected scissors before cutting the strips. Trim the corners of the strip before installation to round off the ends, this allows for a better hold.

Applications:

• Do not hesitate to ask a loved one for help applying the strips.
• The tape is not repositionable once applied.
• When taking a shower there is no need to remove the strip.
• Remove only part of the paper to stick the strip, then remove the rest. If you touch the sticky part of the strip, it will no longer stick.
• Apply gently to avoid discomfort or tightness. Do not apply too much tension or apply in a circular motion to avoid a tourniquet effect.
• Smooth the strips carefully when installing to avoid creases.

Contraindications:

URGO Kinesiology Tape is contraindicated:

• In case of sprain
• For fixing and maintaining wet equipment and probes (hematology, resuscitation, incubators)

Precautions for use:

• Do not use the strip on a clean or infected wound
• Do not use in case of joint instability
• If you have a history of skin allergies, apply a piece of tape to your skin for a few hours before use.
• If irritation, rash or redness occurs, discontinue use of the strips
• Consult your doctor if in doubt
• Keep out of sight and reach of children
• Do not keep near a heat source or in the light
• Single-use strip. Do not reuse a used strip.
• If you are pregnant, consult your doctor before using the strip.
• Apply the bandage with varying degrees of tension, avoiding any discomfort or tightness. Do not apply too much tension and do not apply in a circular motion to avoid a tourniquet effect.

Storage Condition : Relative humidity less than 80% in a cool, dry, well-ventilated and clean environment
