Set up :
A fitting is mandatory for adaptation and a good understanding of the fitting. The first fitting will be carried out by a healthcare professional and later by a person close to the patient according to the same protocol.
During the fitting, the applicator must:
• (2A) Measure the waist circumference 2 cm above the iliac crests in order to choose the appropriate abdominal support.
• (2B) Conform the dorsal boning of the belt to adapt it to the patient's morphology.
• (2C) Adjust the height of the lumbar cushion by positioning it symmetrically to the spine, to adapt it to the patient's arch. Remove the maintenance protections from the belt.
• (2D) Hook one end of the belt onto one end of the abdominal support chosen in (2A) covering the entire round pad of the system
• (2E) Position the belt so that the stays are in a V shape on either side of the spine.
• (2F) Hook the second end of the abdominal support to the belt to close it.
• (2G) Adjust the abdominal support symmetrically, to obtain a tight fit without compression, by centering the elastic part under the abdomen.
• (2H) Adjust the elastic straps symmetrically to obtain optimized support, without compression.
Maintenance and conservation:
Preparation for washing:
• To preserve the appearance and performance of the belt, ensure that each hook-and-loop part is protected:
• (3A) Detach the abdominal support from the belt.
