A fitting is mandatory for adaptation and a good understanding of the fitting. The first fitting will be carried out by a healthcare professional and later by a person close to the patient according to the same protocol.

Use with double tightening:
1) Check the positioning of the traditional strap: the back hook-and-loop fastener must be located between the two central stays (marked by the seam) and, depending on medical recommendations, between the middle and the bottom of the bib. The Gibaud logo must be right side up and the snaps must be clipped.
2) Open the belt:
- Detach the front self-gripping parts of the additional strap, leaving them held to the abdominal plastron by red elastic bands.
- Detach the self-gripping parts of the abdominal plastron.
3) Position the bottom of the belt (where the stays meet) on the top of the inter-gluteal crease using the finger loops.
The Gibaud logo must be right side up.
4) Center the dorsal boning on either side of the spine.
5) Close the abdominal plastron. Reattach the traditional strap on both sides (hook and loop part) for traditional tightening (attach the left side then the right with the logo.
Adjust the tightening according to the intensity of the pain and the activity to obtain a firm but comfortable tightening. Be careful to maintain the positioning of the belt indicated in points 3 and 4.
