CAVILON ADVANCE Protective Film

General characteristics:
• Protects the skin for 72 hours.
• When applied to the skin, the liquid dries quickly to form a long-lasting, water-resistant protective film.
• This solution is elastomeric, adheres to the contours of the skin and forms a uniform film.
• This film is transparent and has good permeability to oxygen and water vapor.
• The polymerized cyanoacrylate is diluted in a non-irritating solvent.
• The film is colorless, non-cytotoxic and limits the potential for dermatitis.
• The film adheres to dry, moist or wet skin surfaces (i.e. second degree skin loss) and remains intact under exposure conditions.
• Single use.
• The applicator is sterilized with ethylene oxide.
• Non-sterile solution.
• Contains no latex, natural rubber, phthalates (DEHP) or any animal or biological product.

Contraindications:
MUST NOT be used:
• In case of known allergy to a component;
• In infants under 37 months;
• As a dressing for deep wounds;
• In or around the eyes.
