Description and use
The Genugib® 3D Patellar Knee Brace protects and relieves your knee on a daily basis and restores your feelings of instability.
It also provides relief in cases of patellofemoral osteoarthritis, chondromalacia or knee pain.

For knee conditions that may benefit from compression, including:

Precautions for use:
• The device should not be used in individuals for whom compression is contraindicated.
• The orthosis should not be used in cases where the pathology requires relative or absolute immobilization or surgical intervention.
• Users with medical conditions that limit blood circulation in the limbs (e.g., diabetes or peripheral vascular disease) should consult their physician before using the device.
• Do not wear for prolonged periods without medical supervision.
• The orthosis should not be placed in direct contact with damaged skin.
• This orthosis is a device for single-patient use. Do not reuse on multiple patients.
• If any problem occurs while using this orthosis, for example pain or the appearance of local symptoms, remove the orthosis and contact your healthcare professional.
• If any serious incident occurs in connection with the device, the user and/or patient must report it to the manufacturer and to the competent authority in the country concerned.
Set up :
A fitting is mandatory for a correct adaptation and a good understanding of the installation. The first installation will be carried out by a healthcare professional and subsequently by the user or a person close to them according to the same protocol. During installation, the patella must be positioned in the center of the patellar ring, taking care to position the recess of the stabilizing gutter on the tibial tuberosity.
Maintenance and conservation:
• Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum 40°C); rinse thoroughly; wring gently;
• Do not bleach;
• Dry flat, away from excessive heat sources (e.g. radiator),
• Do not tumble dry;
• Do not iron;
• Do not dry clean.
• Dispose of the device and its packaging in accordance with local or national environmental regulations.
