Set up :
A fitting is mandatory for a proper fit and a good understanding of the installation. The initial fitting will be carried out by a healthcare professional and subsequently by the user or someone close to them according to the same protocol.
During the first application, conform the palmar splint to adapt it to the patient's morphology and use.
1. Remove the strap
2. Put on the orthosis like a glove, ensuring that the end of the splint is positioned in the palm of the hand and in line with the forearm.
3. Place the strap loop over the hook-and-loop strip on the top of the wrist
4. Ensure that the wrist bone (ulnar styloid) is positioned in the hole in the strap provided for this purpose.
5. Slide the strap into the buckle.
6. Tighten to obtain a firm but comfortable fit.
